Report Types

Hours Summary Report

Shows: Total hours worked per employee

Columns:

  • Employee name
  • Total hours this period
  • Breakdown by event type
  • Overtime hours
  • Average hours per week

Use Case: Payroll calculation, workload balancing

Hours Summary


Assignment Report

Shows: Number of shifts assigned per employee

Columns:

  • Employee name
  • Shifts assigned
  • Shifts completed
  • No-show count
  • Event types worked

Use Case: Fair distribution analysis, reliability tracking


Availability vs Assignment Report

Shows: How well assignments match availability

Columns:

  • Employee name
  • Days marked available
  • Days assigned
  • Utilization rate (%)
  • Unfulfilled availability

Use Case: Optimize scheduling, identify under-utilized staff


Filtering Reports

Date Range:

  • This Month
  • Last Month
  • Quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4)
  • Year-to-Date
  • Custom Range

Employee/Team: Individual or team-level aggregation

Position: Filter to specific position(s)


Exporting Reports

Excel Export:

  • Full data with all columns
  • Formulas for totals/averages
  • Formatted for printing
  • File: statistics_YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx

PDF Export:

  • Formatted report with charts
  • Summary statistics on first page
  • Detailed tables following
  • File: statistics_YYYY-MM-DD.pdf

CSV Export:

  • Raw data, all columns
  • For import into other tools

Summary Cards

Quick Metrics Shown:

  • Total Hours: Sum for selected period
  • Avg Hours per Employee: Mean across filtered employees
  • Most Active Employee: Highest hours/assignments
  • Team Comparison: Hours by team

Purpose: At-a-glance insights before drilling into detailed grid


Scheduled Reports

Setup: Generate reports automatically on schedule

Configuration:

  1. Click "Schedule Report"
  2. Choose report type
  3. Set frequency (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly)
  4. Add email recipients
  5. Save schedule

Delivery: Reports emailed automatically as Excel attachment

  • Login - Access with Expediter+ role
